The above said
American Pit Bull Terrier is sold as a PET/SHOW PROSPECT for the total price of $______________. A cash deposit of $____________
has been made and the cash balance of $_______________ is due to Olympus Kennel BEFORE the puppy is placed in the buyer's possession. Registration papers will also be held until the balance
is PAID IN FULL. The buyer understands that once a deposit is made, it is a commitment
to buy a puppy and is therefore, NON-REFUNDABLE. Buyer
will forfeit deposit and the chosen puppy may then be re-sold if not paid in full by the time the puppy turns 8 weeks old (unless prior arrangements
have been made).
IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY BOTH PARTIES THAT THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS WILL BE MET AND THAT NO OTHER WARRANTIES
OR CONDITIONS ARE EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.
1. Olympus Kennel guarantees the puppy is a purebred American Pit Bull Terrier, offspring of the previously mentioned Sire
and Dam. Buyer agrees to keep Olympus
as part of the puppy’s registered name for the life of the puppy (example: Olympus’s Blue Sky)
2. Buyer certifies that he/she is not acting as an agent for another individual in the purchase of this puppy,
and will not sell this dog to any mass-producing kennel (puppy mill) or business. Both parties agree that NO PUPPIES HAVE BEEN SOLD FOR FIGHTING OR ANY ILLEGAL PURPOSES.
3. The buyer promises to keep the puppy in a proper manner (ample food, water, shelter, health care, daily
exercise, etc.). If problems arise in keeping or training the puppy, the BUYER
agrees to consult Olympus Kennel first. At
time of transfer, Olympus Kennel guarantees the puppy to be current on vaccinations
and dewormings. A normal deworming and vaccination schedule should be followed
as recommended by your chosen veterinarian.
4. At the expense of the BUYER, a licensed veterinarian should
examine the puppy within 48 hours of transfer to validate the Health Guarantee.
(If purchased on Saturday, this requirement
is extended through the following Monday) If at this time, the puppy is found
to have any of the following illnesses (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus, Leptospira, Coronavirus, as well
as any life threatening genetic defects), Olympus Kennel, will replace the puppy
provided the condition is sufficiently serious enough to warrant euthanasia in the opinion of two qualified veterinarians, at least one of whom Olympus Kennel agrees
on. Olympus Kennel DOES NOT give cash refunds for
any reason. Buyer agrees to pay any and all veterinarian charges and shipping charges. The registration papers must be
returned to Olympus Kennel before the puppy will be replaced.
5. At the time of sale, the buyer releases Olympus Kennel and
their estate from any and all liabilities, and/or damages caused by fault of this
puppy. These damages include but are not limited to, destruction of property
and/or physical damage/harm to any person or group of people.
This contract is
made out in duplicate: Olympus Kennel and the Buyer each receive a copy.
We, the undersigned, have read, understand, and agree with the terms of this contract.
